About SupLabel

Our Mission

SupLabel helps consumers make informed decisions about dietary supplements by providing easy access to factual label data. We believe that transparent, comparable data empowers better health choices.

Data Source

All supplement data on SupLabel comes from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD), maintained by the Office of Dietary Supplements at the National Institutes of Health. The DSLD contains label information for thousands of dietary supplement products sold in the United States.

The DSLD data is in the public domain (CC0 license) and is provided as-is. We periodically refresh our database to include new products and updated label information.

What We Do

  • Present factual supplement label data in a searchable, comparable format
  • Normalize ingredient names so you can compare across brands (e.g., "Cholecalciferol" and "Vitamin D3" are the same ingredient)
  • Standardize units for accurate dosage comparisons
  • Provide FDA-style supplement facts panels for every product

What We Don't Do

  • We do not make health claims about any supplement
  • We do not provide medical advice or recommendations
  • We do not sell supplements
  • We do not rank products by "effectiveness"

Affiliate Disclosure

Some product pages link out to retailers such as Amazon. If you buy something through one of these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These commissions do not influence which products appear on the site, how they are ranked, or what label data we show — product inclusion and ordering are driven entirely by the NIH DSLD dataset and the filters described on our Methodology page.
