For most of human history, we consumed the whole animal (nose-to-tail) with deep respect and profound purpose. For instance, Native Americans and early ancestral healers believed that eating the organs from a healthy animal would strengthen and support the health of the corresponding organ of the individual - also known as " like supports like.” The traditional way of treating a person with a weak heart was to feed the person the heart of a healthy animal. Since we've abandoned these ways, the modern world has left us malnourished with an epidemic of declining health. The solution is to find ways to recreate our ancestral environment (sleep, nourishment, movement, sunshine, etc).
