Acetyl-L-Carnitine is found in most cells in the body, including brain, nerve, heart, liver and sperm cells, where it participate in metabolizing fatty acids into energy by the mitochondria. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a water and lipid soluble antioxidant required by the mitochondrial matrix pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, which is the starting point of the Krebs or TCA (energy) cycle. ALA & ALC are well known as mitochondrial antioxidant that can provide anti-aging nutrition.
