Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is a tree native to the southern regions of Africa and gets its name from the hooks which cover its fruit. The active ingredients in Devils Claw are believed to be iridoid glycosides called harpagosides, which are found in the secondary root. Devil's Claw also contains a number of naturally occurring beneficial compounds including phytosterols, flavonoids and phenolic acids. Certain research publications indicate that it may help support the following: Supports joint health Supports healthy skin.
