Andrographis is made with AP-Bio andrographis extract, which is specially formulated to 30% andrographolide content (60 mg per serving), making it the most potent andrographis extract available. Typically, other andrographis extracts are standardized to 10% or less. Andrographolides are the primary bioactive constituents responsible for the immunomodulatory effects of the andrographis leaf. The andrographolide immune boost present in a multitude of ways including increased natural killer cell and phagocyte activity. Andrographolides can also aid healthy immune response by antioxidant action and modulating cytokine activity which may support respiratory health. Andrographis also contains vitamin C and zinc which may achieve respiratory comfort in a complementary manner, thus providing powerful immune support in the form of a tablet.
