Resveratrol is a polyphenol with powerful antioxidant properties found in red wine. Resveratrol has been studied for it's ability to activate the "longevity gene" or "SIRT1" which plays a role in aging related biological processes such as how cells react to stressors. Resveratrol is a polypenol naturally found in the skin of red grapes, certain berries, and other plants.
