Jarrow FORMULAS® ChoLess Optimizer® combines clinically tested levels of sesame seed lignans, tocotrienols and artichoke extract.* Artichoke extract reduces the oxidation of LDL cholesterol.* The proprietary extract SesaPlex™ contains sesamin, a lignan from sesame seeds that has been shown to conserve the body’s supply of gamma-tocopherol and gamma- and other tocotrienols as well as activate fatty acid-oxidizing enzymes for improved fat metabolism.* Tocotrienols support cardiovascular function by affecting biosynthesis of cholesterol and reducing oxidation of low density lipoprotein (LDL cholesterol).*
