NOW Heart Health Probiotic features Lactobacillus reuteri LRC, the first clinically validated heart health probiotic. LRC has been shown to support cholesterol levels already within the healthy range by helping to maintain healthy cholesterol production in the liver and by supporting the body's normal cholesterol elimination pathways. LRC can also promote a balanced immune system response and normal CRP (C-reactive protein) levels, which can further support cardiovascular health. This strain has also been shown to improve vitamin D levels.
