Suggested usage: Take 1 softgel daily with a fat-containing meal.

NOW Macular Vision features XanthoSight, an ingredient consisting of lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin in ratios that have been clinically tested and found to promote optimal eye health, visual performance, and cognitive function. Carotenoids such as lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin, are concentrated in the macula, an area of the eye responsible for focus and color differentiation. In the macula, these pigments act as a filter for cell-damaging blue light. Meso-zeaxanthin is concentrated in the central region of the macula responsible for detailed central vision. Unlike lutein and zeaxanthin, meso-zeaxanthin is not obtained through the diet or available in most eye support products. To enhance bioavailability, XanthoSight has been formulated with fish oil.
