The Coenzyme form of Vitamin B-12 is known as Methylcobalamin, or Methyl B-12. This form of Vitamin B-12 directly participates in homocysteine metabolism. Vitamin B-12 assists in converting homocysteine to Methionine which increases the supply of SAMe (S-adenosyl-L-methionine). Methylcobalamin in metabolically active and easily absorbed by the body.
