Astaxanthin 12 provides a pure, concentrated source of astaxanthin - one of Mother Nature's most powerful and protective antioxidant carotenoids. Astaxanthin is derived from aquatic algae and is responsible for the rich reddish-pink color observed in many marine species, including salmon, crab, lobster, shrimp, krill and even the flamingo, whose diet is abundant in astaxanthin-producing algae.
