Andrew Lessman’s MILLION ORAC derives its name from the ORAC test, which measures the antioxidant power of natural ingredients and foods. The ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) test was developed to objectively assess anti-oxidant power. The higher the ORAC value the greater the anti-oxidant power, and research indicates that consumption of foods with high ORAC values can significantly increase the body’s anti-oxidant activity. Each specially selected ingredient in Million ORAC has an ORAC value in excess of 1,000,000 Units per 100 grams!
