HOW IT WORKS: AHCC(R), known formally as Active Hexose Correlated Compound, is a proprietary extract produced by cultivation and natural enzymatic modification of the vegetative portion (mycelia) of mushrooms from the Basidiomycetes family. Clinical studies have demonstrated AHCC(R)'s ability to support a healthy and balanced immune response, due to the promotion of natural killer cell activity. In addition, AHCC(R) has been shown to support proper liver function and provide strong antioxidant protection. AHCC(R) supports the maintenance of healthy cell cycle function and because of its low molecular weight and composition, is very easily absorbed by the body.
