Solgar’s ABC Dophilus Powder is a selective, scientific blend of essential and beneficial “friendly bacteria” specially formulated for the infant and child. Bifidobacteria (B. bifidum & B. infantis) constitute the predominant healthy intestinal microflora in infants, children and adults and primarily reside in the large intestine. Recently, other strains such as S. thermophilus, together with Bifidobacteria, have demonstrated positive effects on the health and maintenance of intestinal ecology.* This product is sold by weight, not by volume - therefore, settling will occur.
